SeniorIndex.ai publishes independent research on the U.S. senior care industry. This policy describes what information we collect when you visit the site, subscribe to publications, or purchase reports — and what we do with it.
This policy applies to seniorindex.ai, the IndexIQ terminal at iq.seniorindex.ai, and any other websites, applications, or services operated by SeniorIndex (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
We use the information above to operate the Service, fulfill purchases, deliver reports, respond to inquiries, authenticate accounts, protect against fraud and abuse, improve our products, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.
We share information with a short list of service providers that process data on our behalf under contract:
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SeniorIndex, our users, or the public. If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will provide notice before information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We retain account and purchase records for as long as needed to provide the Service and to satisfy tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention requirements — typically seven years for financial records. Analytics data is retained in aggregate indefinitely. Research Desk session data is retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion. Email subscribers may unsubscribe at any time; we retain a suppression record to honor the opt-out.
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encrypted database storage, role-based access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, email inquiries@seniorindex.ai.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, request deletion, and request correction of inaccurate information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our lawful bases for processing are: contract performance (account and purchase processing), legitimate interest (site security, analytics, research operations), and consent (marketing communications you opt into). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email inquiries@seniorindex.ai with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. Material changes will be announced via the email address on file for IndexIQ account holders and active subscribers, and the "Effective" date above will be updated. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
